Christopher Lewis’ practice encompasses a wide variety of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, patent litigation and inter partes reviews, as well as extensive experience in trademark prosecution for private companies, institutions, and individuals. Christopher has particular experience in the patent realm with respect to mechanical, chemical, material science, and biomedical technologies.
Christopher received his J.D. from the University Of Akron School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude. While earning his degree, Christopher worked as a law clerk at Fay Sharpe and in the University of Akron Pro Bono Trademark Clinic. Christopher was also a regular volunteer at the University of Akron’s Certificate of Qualification of Employment Clinic. Before attending law school, Christopher earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Akron. While earning his undergraduate degree Christopher worked at NASA and at private engineering firms. Additionally, Christopher was the senior lead for the recovery team on the Akron Rocket Team where he designed the recovery system used in a NASA competition.
