Colleen Flynn Goss is an experienced trademark and copyright practitioner, advising domestic and international clients, from small entrepreneurs to multi-national corporations, on management of intellectual property including, selecting, registering, and enforcing trademarks, domain names, and copyrights. She also provides counsel on transactional matters and disputes related to trade secrets, false advertising, trademarks, and copyrights.
Overseeing the worldwide trademark assets of a major health care provider as well as several consumer products and manufacturing companies is the keystone of Ms. Goss’ practice. Ms. Goss is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and currently serves as chair of the organization’s Publication Committee, which produces and maintains most of the INTA member legal resources. She is also rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell and has been selected for inclusion in the World Trademark Review 1000 – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals every year since 2018.
Prior to joining Fay Sharpe in 1995, Ms. Goss spent five years in private practice with a large Cleveland law firm concentrating on mergers and acquisitions and securities law and ten years as in house counsel for Cleveland based, publicly traded corporations.
In her spare time, Ms. Goss serves on the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Eye Bank Foundation and enjoys playing golf as often as possible.
